Registration Process

Follow this link, and enter your address to check if your child is eligible to receive books.

Once you submit your child’s information, local volunteers review and approve the registration before sending it to Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library headquarters for processing and mailing.

Registrations are processed at the beginning of each month for mailing the following month. For example, a June registration is processed in July, and the first book arrives in August.

Each month, Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library sends one of 8 books: a welcome book (The Little Engine That Could), a graduation book (Look Out, Kindergarten! Here I Come!), and 6 additional titles tailored to each child’s age.

Because Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library ships over a million books each month, deliveries are staggered throughout the month based on your child’s age.
